Fueled by experience, intuition and curiosity, Caroline Krouwels founded her own design studio CK Concepts in 1996. Creative craftsmanship and entrepreneurial skills blended together. Supported by a talented team, Krouwels develops forecasts, creative strategies, communication concepts, product design and architectural briefs.
As Head of Creative at the Bijenkorf (2012 – 2017), Krouwels was responsible for the creative direction of the Netherlands’ most established department store. Krouwels is also one of the founders and Creative Director of business-to-business fashion trade event ‘Modefabriek’. Her most recent prestigious project is the artist in residence program, ‘Room on the Roof’, located in the tower of de Bijenkorf Amsterdam.
